This notice is intended to clearly explain Trinity's privacy practices for users, families, churches, artists, partners, and App Store reviewers.

1. Who we are

Trinity provides Bible reading, audio Bible, gospel music, prayers, kids faith content, community features, church tools, subscriptions, vouchers, support, and related websites and services. This Privacy Notice applies to Trinity mobile apps, trinity-life.com, app.trinity-life.com, church.trinity-life.com, admin.trinity-life.com, and related services that link to this notice.

Contact us at hello@trinity-life.com for privacy requests, account deletion, data access, corrections, or support.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information, such as email address, username, display name, authentication identifiers, and optional phone number.
  • Sign-in information from providers such as Apple, Google, or AWS Cognito, including basic profile details permitted by the provider.
  • Subscription and purchase status, including Apple in-app purchase product identifiers, entitlement status, expiration dates, voucher redemption status, and support records. We do not receive full credit card numbers from Apple.
  • App activity needed to operate features, such as Bible preferences, language selection, reader settings, notes, highlights, saved verses, playlists, playback state, prayer settings, community group activity, and content interactions.
  • Community content you choose to provide, such as usernames, posts, comments, prayer requests, group names, church-related content, reports, and moderation signals.
  • Music, audio Bible, kids content, and media usage information used for playback, personalization, licensing, troubleshooting, and improving recommendations.
  • Device and technical information, such as app version, device type, operating system, IP address, approximate region, diagnostics, crash logs, network events, and security logs.
  • Advertising-related information for free users when ads are shown, such as ad placement, ad interactions, coarse region, device information, and identifiers permitted by your device settings and applicable law.
  • Location-related information, such as approximate country or region inferred from IP address, device locale, App Store region, or other technical signals. We use this for features such as regional voucher availability and compliance. We do not require precise GPS location for normal app use.
  • Support and communication information you send to us, including emails, forms, attachments, and messages.

3. How we use information

  • To create, authenticate, secure, and maintain your Trinity account.
  • To provide Bible reading, audio Bible, music, prayers, kids content, community, church tools, playlists, saved content, and sync across devices.
  • To manage subscriptions, premium access, vouchers, trial eligibility, receipts, billing support, and entitlement checks.
  • To personalize language, content, recommendations, morning prayer rotation, kids content, reader settings, and playback experiences.
  • To show ads to free users, measure ad performance, frequency-cap ads, prevent abuse, and encourage premium upgrades where appropriate.
  • To moderate community areas, respond to reports, protect users, prevent spam, and enforce our Terms and Content Policy.
  • To send service messages, security alerts, account verification codes, support replies, product updates, and optional notifications you enable.
  • To analyze performance, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, detect fraud, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Ads, tracking, and free users

Trinity may show advertising to free users in placements such as Home, Music, and Audio Bible. Premium users may receive an ad-free or reduced-ad experience depending on the subscription offering. If Trinity uses advertising networks or measurement partners, those partners may process device, interaction, and approximate location information according to their policies and your device privacy settings. Where required, Trinity will request permission before using data for tracking across apps and websites.

5. Children and family content

Trinity includes kids and family faith content, such as prayers, songs, and videos. Kids content is designed to be faith-based and family appropriate. Trinity does not knowingly request children to submit personal information without appropriate consent. Parents or guardians can contact us to review, delete, or limit information associated with a child or family account.

Community, account, subscription, and public posting features are intended for users who are old enough to use them under applicable law or who have parental or guardian permission.

6. Sharing information

  • Service providers that host, secure, deliver, analyze, or support Trinity, such as cloud infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, media storage, crash reporting, analytics, payment validation, and customer support providers.
  • Apple, Google, or other platform providers when you use their sign-in, purchase, notification, or device services.
  • Advertising and measurement partners when ads are shown and only as permitted by law, platform rules, and your privacy settings.
  • Churches, group admins, or community moderators only where your actions make information visible to them, such as joining a church space, creating a group, submitting a prayer request, or participating in a community feature.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance recipients when required to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, or respond to valid legal process.
  • A successor organization if Trinity is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protection of user information.

7. Public and community activity

Some features may allow usernames, posts, prayer requests, group information, comments, or church content to be visible to other users, group members, church admins, or moderators. Do not post private, sensitive, confidential, or third-party information unless you have permission and understand who can see it.

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Trinity, maintain account and subscription records, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and protect the service. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it is used.

If you created an account, you can request deletion through the app where available or by contacting hello@trinity-life.com. Account deletion removes or deactivates your account and personal information unless we need to keep limited records for legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, or legitimate operational reasons. If you have an active Apple subscription, deleting your Trinity account does not automatically cancel Apple billing; manage cancellation through your Apple account subscription settings.

9. Your choices

  • You can update app language, notifications, reader settings, playback settings, and other preferences in the app where available.
  • You can manage Apple subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • You can manage Google or Apple sign-in permissions through your provider account settings.
  • You can limit notifications through device settings.
  • You can limit tracking and ad personalization through iOS privacy settings and any consent prompts shown in the app.
  • You can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information by contacting Trinity support.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, including authentication, access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, and cloud security controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

11. International use

Trinity is built for multilingual and diaspora communities. Your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Trinity or its service providers operate. Those locations may have data protection rules different from your country or region.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice as Trinity changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice by updating this page, changing the date above, or using another appropriate method.
